25 Random Things To Know About Me:

1. When I had sleepovers as a kid my dad would take us all toilet papering.
2. I like my sheets to be tucked in at the bottom so my feet can feel snug.
3. I was on the debate team in college and selected as member of the “All American Debate Team”
4. I have a killer sweet tooth.
5. I hate having dirty hands. This doesn’t necessarily translate into a compulsive need to wash my hands, just that I don’t like dirt so much. Because of this I don’t really enjoy gardening or anything like that.
6. I was editor of the sports section of my high school newspaper.
7. I have what I like to call “freakishly high arches.” This usually requires that I wear a shoe size larger than my feet are big.
8. I like to do crafty things like scrapbooking and knitting. I take after my mom in that respect.
9. My all-time favorite movie EVER is Moulin Rouge.
10. I love cats.
11. My favorite food is pizza but I’m not a pizza snob.
12. If I could drink only one drink for the rest of my life (besides water) it would be Diet A&W Rootbeer with crushed ice.
13. I’m a terrible swimmer but my next big dream is to go scuba diving.
14. My favorite Broadway musical is “The Lion King.” I’ve seen it on Broadway in NY and in Johannesburg, S. Africa.
15. I’m afraid of heights (mostly from falling off them) but that didn’t keep me from repelling on Table Mountain, throwing myself off a cliff at Victoria Falls and skydiving from 10,000 feet in Namibia.
16. I love superhero movies like Batman, Spiderman and The X-Men.
17. I almost never remember having dreams, and definitely never remember any details to them. The last dream I have any memory of is a bad dream I had last night about my capstone project. That’s all the details I have – that it was bad and about my capstone.
18. My favorite ice cream flavor is Mint Chocolate Chip.
19. I have a thing for remembering numbers, mostly because I type them on a number pad in my head and the pattern is makes helps me remember.
20. Related to #20, I have a bad habit of “typing” words that get stuck in my head while watching television or listening to lectures. Not physically typing, just going through the motions with my fingers.
21. Related to #21, this is probably why I type 80+ word per minute in real life.
22. Although I haven’t touched a piano in over three years I still consider myself a piano player. I really need to find a way to play. (This probably relates to #20-22)
23. I like to sing and dance but I’m terrible at both.
24. I only use one pen at a time, and not just any pen – it must be a Pilot Precise V5 with Extra Fine tip in blue.
25. I love scrapbooking – both traditional paper and digi. What I love the most is using colors.
