Before I left Olga asked what luxury items I was bringing with me. You know, those things you absolutely can’t live with out. I thought for a minute about what was crammed into my bags and couldn’t immediately think of anything. It all seemed like essentials, especially because I have things that will be coming in a shipment later and they all basically qualify as luxury items. Then I remembered one of the last minute things my mom picked up for me and told Olga about the three huge containers with chili powder, taco seasoning and ranch dressing mix I was bringing along. These were a MUST HAVE as a Peace Corps Volunteer and I think they’ve proved invaluable again in Lesotho. It’s just nice to have something to make your food a little extra yummy
