She looked a little something like this:
It’s not a great picture, but the ball gives you an idea of her size back then. She wasn’t even as tall as the soccer ball. This picture was taken September 28th and she was 8 weeks old. The next picture was taken last week. Again, not a great picture but check her out in comparison to the ball!
Isn’t she HUGE? You should see her paws. It seems like although she grows bigger every week she’s never going to grow into her paws. They are so big and they make her quite clumsy. Another example of how much Molly has grown? When I adopted her at 6 weeks she weighed 2.5 kg (~5.5 lbs), at 12 weeks she weight 7.4 kg and last weekend, at 16 weeks, she weighed … wait for it … 12 kg!
Overall, she’s pretty adorable, like in this picture:
This is us on the way back from Ladybrand last weekend. Molly had a big day of throwing up in the car on the way there, getting shots at the vet and then coming with me to lunch at Living Life. She had also figured out earlier that she can climb over the seat from the boot to the back seats of the car. On our way back I heard her climbing over and was worried that she would try to climb up front with me. Instead, when I looked back in a couple of minutes, I saw this: Molly sleeping in her bed. I had put it in the back seat instead of the boot because I wanted it to avoid the throw up incident from earlier in the day. How adorable is she? (And yes, I totally took this picture while driving with one hand and operating the camera with the other.)
Wow! She’s really getting big! What a sweet face she has.
