April was a whirlwind …
Met up with a bunch of my JHSPH girlfriends in Chicago. I love these ladies.
Road trip with my parents, brother, sister and brother-in-law through southeastern Utah. We visited Arches National Park, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon
Grandma’s 90th birthday party. The whole reason I planned this trip in the first place.
Trip to Seattle with my mom for my sister’s baby shower.
Arusha, Tanzania for a work meeting, but stayed a few extra days to go on safari in the Serengeti & Ngorogoro Crater.
And now, believe it or not, I’m back in the US (Boston) for another work meeting. At the end of this it will have been 6 time zones, 15 flight segments and 12 separate airports in four weeks. I’ll be back in Lesotho this weekend and even though it will be winter for the next few months I think I’ll be staying put for awhile.
