I’m late sharing this layout that I created for this article on the Get It Scrapped blog this month. I haven’t had much time recently to scrapbook or post here. So I’m correcting that with two quick shares. First up our assignment on “glamping” (glamorous camping): Make a page on which the style is inspired by camping or glamping. Use colors, materials, motifs that reflect this. Strive for an overall look/style on the page that reflects this activity.
Beautiful Lesotho by Heather Awsumb | Supplies: Plum Seed Paper Pack, Citrus Squeeze Digital Jewels by Adrienne Looman for Websters Pages; Texture Volume 28 by Wishing Well Creations; Magic Sparkles Korners n Edges by Anna Aspnes; Doily Edgers No 1, Cut Ups Great Outdoors, Decorative White Frames No 1, Photo Clusters No 45, Crowning Affair Understated Kit, Messy Stamped Alpha No 6, Crowning Affair Vibrant Kit, Tagging Sentiments No 1 by Katie Pertiet; Sunshine and Lollipops by Zoe Pearn; Life is Good Kit by Fee Jardine; StamPETE font.
For the assignment I took some of my favorite pictures of scenery in Lesotho and put them all together as a reminder (especially in winter) why I love it here. To achieve a “glamping” look I tried to combine sparkles and girly things with element that were also roughed up. My favorite element is the white sparkle corners near the focal point photo. When I saw the brushes in my supplies I knew immediately that I wanted to use them because they reminded me of the Christmas twinkle lights that were really popular on the Pinterest inspiration.
