The assignement: Embellish a page with a sprinkling or a trail of elements. This means that there will be many elements in the sprinkling — at least 5 but probably more. This shouldn’t be a straight line or shaped series but a random sprinkling.

My sprinkling is very subtle – I layered three different sprinklings of beads on top of each other to add extra emphasis to one of the photos. It’s also reflected in the misting in the background.

So I jumped on the scrapbooking bandwagon and decided to commit to “December Daily” this year. I went with a super easy format of two 4×6 images – one side for journaling with a date overlay and the other for photos. Whenever I commit to multi-day projects I never end up taking very many photos so I wanted a format that would be really flexible and this was it. When I came across this quote from Lemony Snicket in the December “Real Simple Magazine” I knew it would make the perfect title page. It sums up my feelings right now perfectly. (Not to worry, this is likely the only page I’ll share from the project.)
